Amelia Parks sworn says She lives in Laurens City I saw a house burning went to it. It was Mary Templetons house when I got there there the house had fallen in - And this child Calhoun Templeton was lying on a quilt - on the ground dead - Mary Templeton the Mother was out Picking Cotton - She had left five children in the house from 6 years down. This was on the plantation of Mr Dunk Watts.
