Officer's Statement. . . I talked with the defendant at County Jail, Chesterfield, S.C. about 12:30 A.M. o'clock on August 2nd and he stated to me: That he stabed Alfonso Hancock, and stabed his wife, the deceased two times, and that they were having sexual intercourse at the time he stabed them, at Smithfield Colored school house. that Hancock ran, he left his wife at the place and went back to his home.
