Chief Jacob Sworn Says he was called about 7oclock Friday morning & told that there was a man lying in ditch near the RR crossing & found an old stranger laying on his side in the ditch. After examining him I found he was dead. I called the Dr. Funderburk to examine him and I found nothing what ever among his affects that would identify who he was.
