Robert M. Lance Evidence: I took the baby out of her arms & carried badb to Rose Gilmore & they told me to go get Dr. & I went & got him. When the Doctor got there he gaos their some medicine for baby. I asked Dr what was the matter with him & he said hemorrage at Lungs. I saw nothing strange about child only it looked as if it wished to throw up & mouth was block. The baby died Monday morning about light.
Rose Gilmore Evidence: . . . coming up the hlll he said Lord somebody come here Lula's baby is nearly dead and Mary Gilmore took the baby and I thought the baby was choked and would be put my finger in its mouth and Mary Gilmore would be let me and told her to get a light as we could see . . . when we got a light I looked in its mouth its touge seemed to be black and swelled and had Lula to get some [????] and put it in its mouth and it couldn't swallow. the baby was suffering. . . and died about 6 oclock
