Dr. C. Kollock sworn says . . . it would indicate that the child was sized suddenly with congestion of the Lungs and wind Pipe. There was considerable swelling around the neck and wind pipe which would indicate heavy congestion. This was sufficient to cause the death of child, if there had been no other trouble. There were no marks of violence. Don't think there is any use of a Post-Mortem.
Sallie Brady sworn says: I nursed the baby just before day, I turned my back to her. Henry came in to make fire. It was light. I got up started to lay up on pillow. I found she was dead. The child was not sick, that I know of. Did not hear any struggle. I alway's sleep with her on my arm until this morning. She was lying on her side with her face to me. . .
