they found the bones here to the Jury shown, to wit, the two Osfemoris[?], or thigh bones, the Cimin[?], The two Scapula; two Arm bones; two of the Radius, & two of the ulva; one fibula. The others, & also one of the neck bones, Found the hair, all of which witness states was found scattered around within twenty yards of the clothes and the Spot, where the Jury now sit. Witness says the scull bone shown to the Jury, was found by a Stranger last summer.

Thinks he was missing about the 15th April 1849

Knew Shultz to have been deranged twice for a few days at a time about eight years ago, had then fever in the head

Knew A.P. Shultz for twenty odd years. Shultz often observed to witness that he suffered so much pain, he wished he was dead. This was about a fortnight, or one month before he was missing.
