Personally appeared Lular Gilbert before an inquisition taken before me on the body of Carna Blackwood who being duly sworns says on Saturday 21st I went out get some [?] when I came back I found my Mother hanging by the neck to one of the joists with a bridal. I taken her down as soon as I could but she was dead. I made alarm as soon as I could. Mr. Landford and Mr. Blackwood came to the house.... Lular her mark Gilbert
