Have examined the body of the dec'd female child. It is fully developed & came to its full term but from the lists[?] would say it never breathed. Have two reasons to suspect foul play. There were severe bruises on it which might have been caused by its being thrown into the well. I examined Sally Turner and from her condition am satisfied that she has been recently delivered of a child. She first denied having been delivered of a child but afterward confessed it and said she was very sorry she had destroyed it.
